In the first addition of That's My S&*%!! This one comes cortesey of the "Clueless" movie soundtrack which was so amazing to me as a kid. I loved everything about that movie. The other night as I was watching, grieveing Brittany Murphy; I remembered when I thought as a child this is what my life will be as a fabulous teenager... Ha! Little did I know... There were some misses and some utter fails and lots of spring trends for the ladies at this years Grammy's. I really don't have anything nice to say about any of the outfitas I saw on my divas this weekend.From the Clive party on down to the ceremony I was VERY disappointed...

Grammy's 2010 - The Performances!

I love this!!! DRAKE AND EM AND WAYNE KILLLED!!! Quentin was tryin' a little too hard with his intro but and besides the trigger happy editing it was grand!! Yay! for the Rookie of the Year!!

Beyonce could have given me more but she did well. Notice she has on the same dress that Rihanna rocked in her Italian Vogue spread


Lady GaGa had the best performance of the night by far!!! I loved every minute of it!




The worst performance of the night by far was Jamie Foxx, way to coon it up douchebag, between all the antics and dry jokes you can forget how talented he is....



Last but certainly not least, the Micheal Jackson tribute.... It could have been better but then again no one was better than The King

I am absolutely in love with the accessory designer Kerin Rose. Though I can't possibly afford anything she makes I love her vision as well as her personal style. I am a big fan of someone who takes risks and makes 'middle finger' statements all while retaining their feminity. She has influenced and worked with Rihanna, Katy Perry and other fab dames.... But the thing that gets me about her is how she's not one of those people so busy making sure that other people look fab that she ends up lookin' a mess.... The girlfriend pulls it off everyday. Y'all already know how excited I am about the new generation of Hip-Hop. As a singer/songwriter I live for the first time I see a great new music video or hear a stellar new artist. It gives me hope that my all night studio sessions and my writing & vocal exercises are not in vain. J.Cole is one of those "kids" on the scene that makes me proud. Here is his video for "Simba"

Style Maven- Kim Kardashian

  When I want to do a slightly hyper-sexed make-up look or find a way sensationalize my outfit I like to take points from Kim Kardashian.


She always looks like what I envision Marylin Monroe or Bridget Bardot's granddaughter would be like. She always looks like she just had sex or at a moments notice she's down for it. Nobody besides maybe Beyonce during the Dangerously in Love days can "dangle" better. Kimmy is a true sensualist and she is literally built for it. Watching her sling 'n' slay has made me step up my curvy game. I no longer waste an opportunity to show a sliver of cleavage (With me a little goes a loooooong way..... Trust) or wear my hair like a bombshell babe - Big, Wild, Curly and Sexy. I no longer hide my thighs in suit pants, I leave em' lovin' me in a pencil skirt. Today's entry is an oldie but goodie, it's called "Nothing Else" It's from Justin Timberlake's first solo album 'Justified' which was released in 2002. I can't believe that I was 16 when this record came out... Time flies.... Anyway, the lyrics are interesting, and sexy and JT goes off vocally... Get into it!

Boy, Oh Boy! Hottie of the Week- J.Cole

So I'm starting to think I might have a thing for rappers... It makes sense to me, I mean seeing as how I'm infinitely fascinated with words and the human voice. ( I'm a former speech and debate nerd)


This week's hottie is J.Cole, a forefront leader in the new school of hip-hop. I see him, Drake and The Pride of Kansas (XV) running the game in a few years. I love how the students of  Mi Hovito are rising to the top of the heap now and makin' Yoda proud. I think the one thing I like the most about him (besides his talent and well-spoken/OG demeanor) is that he looks so dangum tall. As a short girl I like a tall man.... He looks and carries himself like a basketball player. I mean just look at those long ass legs.....His feet would totally stick out the bottom of my bed.... Ugh!...  Maybe it's because he's from North Carolina? Anyway, I digress, He killed on his feature on Blueprint 3. Check him out rockin' with Hov below...

I think Drake is cute... *Ducks* I mean for a rapper... I know everyone has mixed reviews on him as a 'heartthrob' but I think he's absolutely delish...  He has a quality, an air about himself. Plus he seems clever and well-spoken.He has a smooth, deep speaking voice; He always sounds like he just woke up... That's sexy, in a way... *Giggles*  I like that he's not the typical high yella hottie. You don't see him all over the place half-naked with big ass gaudy chains and grody, obnoxious tattoos or saggin his pants. He looks... Respectable. Like he had a mother. Meh...
